• Establishing your qualification to marry in All Saints'

• Completing your banns application form

• Liaising with the Vicar and other church members such as the organist, verger and florist.

Baptisms/Christenings

If you live in the Parish of All Saints you are automatically entitled to have your child baptised (also called Christening) at All Saints Church. To discover whether you live in the ecclesiastical parish of All Saints, Branksome Park put your postcode into the Church of England parish finder website www.achurchnearyou.com We are also delighted to baptise adults who haven’t been baptised before, normally as part of Confirmation.

In baptism, parents thank God for his gift of life, make a decision to start the child on the journey of faith and ask for the Church's support. Baptisms normally take place during a Sunday morning service at our 9.30am services, so the church congregation can welcome the child into the Church and declare their intention to support and pray for the child, parents and godparents.

If you do not live in the Parish of All Saints' but have an association with All Saints' please get in touch or just come along to one of our Sunday services.

Funerals

We understand that the death of a loved one can be a difficult time and we always make every effort to accommodate families.

If you live or have lived (prior to death) in the Parish of All Saints, Branksome Park you are normally automatically entitled to have your funeral at All Saints Church (subject to availability). To discover whether you live in the ecclesiastical parish of All Saints put your postcode into the Church of England parish finder website www.achurchnearyou.com

If your relative does not currently live in the Parish of All Saints but they had an association with All Saints, or, for example, their spouse or another relative is buried in the churchyard of All Saints, it is likely their ashes will be able to buried in the graveyard. There are no more burial plots for full graves left but we welcome enquiries for reservations of ashes plots.

In any event we would love to try and help so please contact the office on 01202 701822 to have an initial conversation. We also have a trained team of bereavement counsellors and bereavement support group, who are here to help you during this time, again please contact the office.

Our Organist is normally available to offer assistance with music requirements and welcomes your contact at any time. He aims to fulfil your special requests at this sensitive time and can access an all-encompassing repertoire. He will be pleased to liaise with the bereaved family and where required, advise in the selection of hymns and their relevant tunes.

We also always try to offer you a Choir to support and supplement the grieving community gathered, just contact the office on 01202 701822 and we will take care of the necessary arrangements.

Church Hall Hire

We have a large and well maintained Church Hall. It can be used as one large hall and has dividing doors to give the flexibility to make it into two halls; one being larger than the other. There is a fully equipped kitchen with cutlery and glasses and a variety of tables and chairs are all included in the cost of hire.

It is possible for people living within the Parish or associated with the Church, to hire it for parties, social events and meetings, depending on the type of gathering and the time it finishes. Out of consideration to our neighbours we do have restrictions on its use.
